A life lived at the meeting place of creativity and spirit.

For more than three decades, I have worked as a teaching artist, professor, storyteller, yoga instructor, and spiritual care companion in settings ranging from Harlem schools, libraries, and museums to hospital rooms in New York City and hospice rooms across Rhode Island.

In each space — classroom, sanctuary, or bedside — I seek to create environments where story, creativity, and contemplative practice open pathways for healing, remembrance, and connection.

My current work centers on storytelling, creative spiritual care, and coaching, supporting individuals and communities in bringing forth their authentic, sacred voice through creativity and the stories they carry.

My movement and contemplative practices include certifications in YogaSkills Kemetic Yoga with Master Teacher Yirser Ra Hotep, Kripalu Yoga, Yoga 4Cancer, and Karma Kids Yoga. In 2018, I traveled to Vietnam, Bali, and Thailand, teaching English through drama and introducing students to Yoga Dance and Kemetic Yoga.

My teaching and cultural work has included serving with the Schomburg Center's Teen Curators Program, as a teaching artist with Brown University's Arts Literacy Program, and as a reflective mindfulness instructor for high school students in Brown University's Black and Indigenous Histories Summer Institute.

My ministry celebrates the kinship of all life and the infinite ways spirit finds form through story and art.

Listening deeply. Holding space.
Awakening the wisdom within.

Spiritual care coaching is an invitation to pause and rediscover your inner compass. Rooted in interspiritual practice, my sessions blend presence, creative reflection, and embodied awareness.

Creative Process
"Each creative story and artistic expression begins in silence. I listen until an image or phrase stirs in the heart — then I translate it through movement, visual artistic expression, storytelling, and breathwork. The process itself becomes meditation."
